Master Esthetician
Course Description
The program provides a comprehensive blend of lectures, learning objectives, and hands-on training. Students will explore the history of esthetics, develop essential professional life skills, and apply principles established by the Virginia State Board of Esthetics regulations and standards.
The curriculum also includes advanced skin care topics and treatments for licensed estheticians, such as:

Chemical exfoliation and peels

Safe application of chemical exfoliants

Benefits of microdermabrasion, light therapy, and microcurrent treatments

Ultrasound, microneedling, and nano infusion
-
Spa body treatments, cellulite treatment options, and manual lymphatic drainage​

Course Length

31 hours weekly meeting time (approximately 20 weeks to complete class)
Schedule
Mondays and Tuesdays = in-school, hands-on Practical experiences.
Monday: 6 pm - 9:30 pm (3.5hrs) = Practical Hands On
Tuesday: 6 pm - 9:30 pm (3.5hrs) = Practical Hands On
​Wednesday: 9:30 am - 6 pm (8hrs) - Break 12-12:30 pm = Theory CIMA™ LMS
Thursday: 9:30 am - 6 pm (8hrs) - Break 12-12:30 pm = Theory CIMA™ LMS
Friday: 9:30 am-6 pm (8hrs) Break 12-12:30 pm = Theory CIMA™ LMS

Students must complete 600 hours, if more than 8 hours unexcused hours are missed, the class must be repeated.
